Properties in Sotogrande

One of the most prestigious area in Spain, Sotogrande, is located in the municipality of San Roque in the Province of Cádiz along the Mediterranean coast. Sotogrande is conveniently located east of Gibraltar, less than a 30 minutes’ drive, thus not surprising that many who work in Gibraltar, live in Sotogrande. This particular region offers spectacular views of the Mediterranean, the rock of Gibraltar and Morocco a mere 15 kilometers south across the sea.

Some of the world’s richest and most powerful families own homes in this spectacular location, including the royal family of Spain and the United Kingdom as well as powerful leaders from Russia and other countries. 

In the area there are a number of artificial lakes and five golf courses, including the famous Valderrama Golf Club. The colorful, luxurious leisure marina was completed in 1988. The marina is the hub of local social life, offering a choice of bars, restaurants and stores.
